As if that weren’t enough, Bishop Cortez Vaughn is an anointed and talented musician, singer, writer, and producer! He’s a Grammy & Six-Time Stellar Award Winner for the #1 hit single, “YOU DESERVE IT” where he served as both the co-writer and featured lead vocalist! This is still hailed as a worship anthem and has since garnered multiple awards including ASCAP, Billboard, Dove, BET, and others!

In 2019, Bishop Vaughn was featured on several national tours and worked with some of the industry’s most respected names including Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, Commissioned, Kirk Franklin, and more!

God just continues to show favor as Bishop Cortez shows no signs of slowing down! In October of 2020, he gifted the world with his long-awaited, powerful NEW debut singles entitled “Beautiful One” and “I’m Why!”. At the same time, he’s been featured on countless other projects, including the international hit project with South African Platinum Recording Artist Dr. Tumi and The Grammy Nominated collaboration with Hip-Hop Artist, Emcee N.I.C.E which is being featured in the awe-inspiring film entitled “The Answer.”

While this bio wasn’t difficult for us to pen—it certainly was (and still is) a bit of a challenge to get Bishop Cortez to allow us to release! It’s even more of a challenge for him to be in the midst as it’s being read aloud…why? Because there isn’t an arrogant bone in his body and his only desire is to be used by God any way He sees fit. He often reminds us that whatever he’s accomplished has ONLY been made possible through the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the undeserved favor of God. He is a man with a testimony and vision for building God’s Kingdom—by igniting LOVE, HOPE, and HEALING through the RECKLESS Love of GOD!
